Glucosamine Sulphate: Glucosamine is a popular alternative medicine used by consumers for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Glucosamine is also extensively used in veterinary medicine as an unregulated but widely accepted supplement. |
Methyl Sulphonyl Methane: MSM (alone or in combination with glucosamine sulfate) is helpful in relieving symptoms of knee osteoarthritis. |
Chondroitin Sulphate: Chondroitin sulphate is an important structural component of cartilage and provides much of its resistance to compression. Chondroitin is an ingredient found commonly in dietary supplements used as an alternative medicine to treat osteoarthritis. It is commonly sold together with glucosamine. |
Ascorbic Acid: Vitamin C is responsible to build and maintain tissues and strengthening the immune system. The body requires vitamin C to form and maintain bones, blood vessels and skin. Ascorbic Acid is prescribed in veterinary medicine for the treatment of Vitamin C deficiency caused by liver disease and for certain toxicity syndromes, like acetaminophen toxicity. |
Tocopheryl Acetate 50% (Vitamin E Acetate): Tocopheryl Acetate, also known as vitamin E acetate, is a common vitamin supplement. The alpha form of tocopherol constitutes about 90% of the Tocopherol in animal tissue. Vitamin E maintains animals’ rate of growth better and potentially prevents the onset of secondary infections. |
Manganese Chloride: Manganese is indispensable for the action of glycosyltransferase. This enzyme plays a role in the formation of the Mucopolysaccharide Chondroitin Sulphate, which is a component of cartilage and due to its action on the formation of cartilage it is also important for bone formation. |
Zinc Chloride: Zinc is an essential element in the nutrition of animals and man. It acts as a cofactor of numerous enzymes. Zinc plays a role in protein synthesis and cell division. It promotes growth, enhances immunity & hastens wound healing. |
Boswellic Acid: Boswellic Acids are a series of pentacyclic triterpene molecules which are produced by plants in the genus Boswellia. Boswellic Acid have been clinically studied for osteoarthritis and joint function, particularly for osteoarthritis of the knee. |
Indications: For reducing inflammation & pain associated with acute inflammation of body parts of a non-human animal, particularly joints due to injury or due to arthritic conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis or other diseases.
Addition of Freossipower could translate into lower management costs, lower vet bills, and healthier animals, as well as a reduction in antibiotic use. |
